请教:ldapsearch -x出现invalid option --x错误

重新安装openldap成功,数据也可以添加.但当我使用如下查询进行测试时:
ldapsearch -x -b 'dc=lib,dc=com'时,总是报错,信息为:
ldapsearch: invalid option -- x
usage: ldapsearch [options] filter [attributes...]
where:
    filter      RFC-1558 compliant LDAP search filter
    attributes  whitespace-separated list of attributes to retrieve
                (if no attribute list is given, all are retrieved)
options:
    -n          show what would be done but don't actually search
    ......//以下是一些参数及其说明,但没有参数x和X.而在man ldapsearch中有

我用ldapadd命令也存在同样问题,只有去掉-x参数才能add成功.x是简单认证,而我在slapd.conf中也采用了默认的明文rootpw.请问这是什么原因造成的?谢谢!

和你的客户端工具的版本有关，较早的ldap*版本不支持-x
