为什么linux没有what命令

因为我在hp-ux和sunos上都可以使用what命令来查看文件版本
在linux上却没有此命令
我用的是ubuntu8.04

ubuntu 如果是desktop的发行版的话，很多命令应该是没有装的。。你可以试试装一下或者搜索一下 apt-cache search what
