sco 5.0.5 smp 安装问题

最近我在安装一台hp ml570 G2(4cpu,4G memory)服务器，装Sco unix5.0.5操作系统(安装顺序：先Sco unix5.0.5，再装SMP（只装了一次），追加另2个CPU的LISENCE，补丁rs505a,oss497c,oss600a)，不过系统只认了3个CPU,第2个CPU系统无法认？
报错：
cpu2 dos not active boot code

请问怎么处理？

同时4G的内存怎么分给sybase数据库使用？
（而SCO 5.0.5系统只能配到2G）

5.0.7我装的倒是顺利哦，5.0.6多CPU的安装我也遇到问题，怎么都装不上，也是第二颗CPU的问题，不过的机子是比较老的，淘汰装着玩的

Dear SCO Customer,

Support Level Supplement (SLS) OSS623A, the SMP Supplement for SCO
OpenServer Release 5.0.5 and 5.0.4, addresses a problem with the SMP
component of SCO OpenServer Release 5.0.5 and 5.0.4 operating systems.

SLS OSS623A corrects the following problem:

  On certain systems, one or more devices will fail to respond following
  installation of SCO Symmetric Multiprocessing Support.  An example of
  such a device is one of the SCSI host adapters on systems based on the
  Intel S450NX motherboard, such as the Gateway ALR 9200.

SLS OSS623A replaces the following file:

    /etc/conf/pack.d/apic/Driver.o


Software Notes and Recommendations
----------------------------------

SLS OSS623A should only be installed on:

        SCO OpenServer Enterprise System Release 5.0.5
        SCO OpenServer Host System Release 5.0.5
        SCO OpenServer Desktop System Release 5.0.5
        with Symmetric Multiprocessing Support,
        Release Supplement 505A, and SLS OSS497C

        SCO OpenServer Enterprise System Release 5.0.4
        SCO OpenServer Host System Release 5.0.4
        SCO OpenServer Desktop System Release 5.0.4
        with Symmetric Multiprocessing Support,
        Release Supplement 504C, and SLS OSS469D


Installation Instructions
-------------------------

1. Prepare the media for installation.

   Download the OSS623A media image file (oss623a file), place
   the file in the /tmp directory and rename the file
   by typing these commands:

        mv /tmp/oss623a /tmp/VOL.000.000

2. Run the Software Manager with the command:

        # scoadmin software
   
   or double-click on the Software Manager icon in the desktop.
   
3. Pull down the "Software" menu and select "Install New".
   
4. When prompted for which host to install from, choose the local   
   machine and then "Continue".
   
5. When prompted to select the media device, choose "Media Images, then
   "Continue".  When prompted for the "Image Directory", enter "/tmp"
   (or the directory where you placed the VOL file), and then select "OK".
   
   (If you are installing this SLS from diskette media, select the
   appropriate floppy disk drive and then "Continue". Proceed to step 6.)

6. When prompted to select software to install, ensure that the "OSS623A"
   entry is highlighted. Choose "Install".

7. Once the installation finishes, quit the Software Manager.  Installation
   of SLS OSS623A is now complete. The changes will take effect the next
   time you reboot the system.
   
8. Log in as root on tty01, and shut down the system:

        # shutdown -g0 -y
   
After shutting down and rebooting the machine, application of the SLS
is complete.
        
        
Removal Instructions
--------------------

Notes: Patches must be rolled back in the reverse order in which they
       were installed on a per-component basis.
   
1. Log in as root.
   
2. Execute the command:

        # scoadmin software
   
   or double-click on the Software Manager icon in the desktop.

3. Highlight "The SMP Supplement for SCO OpenServer Release 5.0.5 and 5.0.4".
   
4. Pull down the "Software" menu and select "Remove Software".
   
5. Once the removal finishes, quit the Software Manager.
   
6. As root on tty01, shut down the system:

        # shutdown -g0 -y
   
After shutting down and rebooting the machine, application of the SLS
is complete.

OSS623A我打了的，还是怎样？

首先确保有补丁oss652a:  Intel Processor Microcode Driver (requires rs505a)
否则就有cpu dos not active boot code 之类的东东出来

1、确认你当前有几个CPU的license: uname -X 看NumCPU=?
2、你总共有几个CPU? 把CPU2的位置换一个CPU看错误是否重现
