UNIX5.0.6中安装MODEM

我接精华贴上的方法安装，前面一切正常。到以下这步
Choose an option (1-7), or q to quit : 6

Test connection with remote site

This option attempts to make a connection to a
remote site with uucico, which uses the Systems
and Devices files.

Its full debug output is shown on screen, and
also saved in the file /usr/lib/uucp/Testlog.

Site names listed in the Systems file :

sosco scolon test

Which site do you want to try (or q to quit) ? test

最后会出现一堆的乱码。表示通讯正常。但我的没有出现，是什么问题？
我是在两台单机上用MODE连接，可不可以不要设置路由等？
有谁在98/XP下连接UNIX和UNIX连接98/XP安装成功过的，请贴份详佃安装说明，在下在此先行谢谢了！
