When i start KDE,it display :can not open /dev/asp ,no such file or directory,

there is no  no dsp under /dev inf my fb5.0
i have added  "device  pum" in the kernel and reconfig ,make it ..

but  i can not see about pcm when i use demsg  and the  sound card can not play yet.

how about this ,help me?maybe it is a no pnp card???

#cp GENERIC mykernel
#vi mykernel

Then add the line "pcm" in "mykernel" and run config & make , make install to make and install the new kernel.

Don't you see i have do that in my computer???????????

NOW,the sound card can not speak yet after i do that .
Is there noone know
how to do????????
