Job Title: PS Staff Consult TD

Location: Beijing/Shanghai




Key Areas of Responsibility

Provide thought leadership, technical and industry expertise to our clients that will contribute to innovative business solutions.  These engagements will address the critical business drivers and business objectives of the client organization.  This will include understanding and influencing the strategic vision of both the client, TERADATA Professional Services, and their respective community of interest. Details including:

•      Lead engagement planning and execution of client consulting projects

•      Help secure new consulting engagements by demonstrating how TERADATA’s products and services can solve the client’s business problems.  

•      Assist in building relationships with strategic persons in the client organization

•      Participate in proposing, designing, and implementing solutions that address the relevant people, process, information, and technology needs.  

•      Anticipate functional/industry/technical issues and develop sound strategies which are accepted by the client.  

•      Provide thought leadership, which is recognized outside of Professional Services by TERADATA, the client, and/or the industry.  They will also be involved in transferring their knowledge and expertise to other TERADATA Professional Services associates through mentoring and teaching others in a formal setting, leading engagement teams, and by participating in professional development activities which build knowledge capital.






Education and Experience Requirements

•      Deep and practical experience in banking or insurance in local or overseas market

•      Managerial position for 5+ years (10+ years for Sr. Business Consultant position)

•      Out-spoken and presentable with good mastering of presentation and communication skills

•      Sound EQ, team work and high calibre

•      Fluent in Chinese and English

•      Can work independently and under hard pressure

•      Learn fast and high interest of pursuing a consulting career

•      Frequent travel within GCA

•      Preferably related degrees in banking, business or finance

•      Overseas citizen will be a PLUS
