http://www.freebsd.org/where.html
X-Window
  配置X
    #Xorg -configure
    该操作会在/root下生成一个xorg.conf.new文件
    #cd /root
    #Xorg -config xorg.conf.new

    #cp xorg.conf.new /etc/X11/xorg.conf
    #vi ~/.xinitrc
       ttyv8   "/usr/local/bin/kdm -nodaemon"  xterm on  secure
       vi /usr/local/share/config/kdm/kdmrc
AllRootLogin=ture
    #vi /etc/login.conf
       #
       #Chinese Users Accounts
       #
       chinese|Chinese Users Accounts:\
             :charset=GBK:\
             :lang=zh_CN.GBK:\
             :tc=default:
    #cap_mkdb /etc/login.conf
    #vipw
    #mkdir /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/TrueType
    #fc-cache -fv
    #cd /usr/ports/chinese/kde3-i18n-zh_CN
    #make install clean
    该操作是安装KDE中文环境
    #vi ~/.profile
    加入下面两行:
    LANG=zh_CN.GBK; export LANG
    LC_CTYPE=zh_CN.GBK; export LC_CTYPE
    #cd /usr/ports/chinese/fcitx
    #make install clean

    该操作安装了fcitx中文输入法
    #vi ~/.xinitrc
    在exec startkde前加入下面内容:
    LANG=zh_CN.GBK; export LANG
    LC_CTYPE=zh_CN.GBK; export LC_CTYPE
    export
XMODIFIERS='@im=fcitx'
    fcitx &
    #mount_msdosfs -L zh_CN.GBK /dev/ad0s4 /hd       其中/hd是共享分区的挂载点
    #vi /boot/defaults/loader.conf

    #cd /usr/src/sys/i386/conf
    #mkdir /root/kernels
    #cp GENERIC /root/kernels/MYKERNEL
    #ln -s /root/kernels/MYKERNEL
    #vi /root/kernels/MYKERNEL
#
# GENERIC -- Generic kernel configuration file for FreeBSD/i386
#
# For more information on this file, please read the handbook section on
# Kernel Configuration Files:
#
#
http://www.FreeBSD.org/doc/en_US.ISO8859-1/books/handbook/kernelconfig-config.html
#
# The handbook is also available locally in /usr/share/doc/handbook
# if you've installed the doc distribution, otherwise always see the
# FreeBSD World Wide Web server (
http://www.FreeBSD.org/
) for the
# latest information.
#
# An exhaustive list of options and more detailed explanations of the
# device lines is also present in the ../../conf/NOTES and NOTES files.
# If you are in doubt as to the purpose or necessity of a line, check first
# in NOTES.

    #make buildkernel KERNCONF=MYKERNEL
    #make installkernel KERNCONF=MYKERNEL
