怎么运行bin文件

我有一台Sun Ultra24的机器，上面装了solaris 10。 我想在这个机器上装weblogic 10. 从bea下载下来的文件是bin后缀的。不知道在我的机器上怎么运行。

我试过chmod 和shell命令,都不行。我想是因为我下载的文件是sparc based,而ultra24是intel 86 based.不知道有没有高人可以解决这个问题啊

Make sure it is executable.
./xxx.bin

I tried the following
    "chmod a+x portal102_solaris32.bin"
    ./portal102_solaris32.bin

Ansd it told me that "Invalid argument"

That means it runs, but needs argument. You need to read the install guide.

Try:  ./portal102_solaris32.bin  -mode=console

If what you said is true, is it possible to run it by using GUI? If yes, what is the argument?

I download the WL10 as a jar package, and run java -jar XXX.jar under my solaris. Problem resolved!!!!

I still think the bin file downloaded is a SPARC based binary file. It can not run on my i86pc-based Solaris. That should be why I can not run it on my Sun Ultra 24

Anyway, thanks for your help.

你自己已经回答这个问题了

这个问题要解决，当然是你下载for Solaris x86平台的安装文件（不知道有没有），你明明知道Sun Ultra24是X86的架构，还偏偏要用SPARC平台的安装包去安装。不同平台的可执行文件的头部信息不一样，别费那劲了。除非是使用平台无关的代码，如基于Java的安装包

我心里猜是这么一回事，但是希望能得到高手的确认。还有就是希望能抛砖引玉，希望高手能告知在sun ultra 24 上安装weblogic 10 的方法。

用java package安装还是有一些问题的。感觉软件厂商对sun ultra 24支持还是比较弱的
