I’ll implement an interface. Firstly, I should implement a servlet to parse the request parameter and add the servlet configuration into web configuration. Secondly, I should deal with the logical business to implement the interface.
http://localhost:8080/yourApp/yourModule?param1=variable1%08variable2
%08 means it’s a backspace character. Some special characters should be converted to the ASCII codes with the prefix ‘%’ before they are transferred to the web server as the parameters.
public class YourServlet extends HttpServlet
{
public void doGet(HttpServletRequest request, HttpServletResponse response) throws ServletException, IOException
{
String variable1= request.getParameter("variable1");
String variable2= request.getParameter("variable2");
String remoteClientIP = request.getRemoteAddr();
String result = doYourBusiness();
response.getWriter().write(result);
}
public void doPost(HttpServletRequest request, HttpServletResponse response) throws ServletException, IOException
{
doGet(request, response);
}
}
Once you have written the servlet class, you should configure it in the web.xml.
YourServlet
YourServlet
yourPackage.YourServlet
10
YourServlet
/ yourModule
Ok, when you restart the tomcat server, it will load an instance of YourServlet in the server context.
