red hat 9中文版下安装postgresql-7.3.4时遇到问题 急!急!急!

当运行到./configure --with-mb=EUC_CN时出现这样的提示
bash-2.05b$ cd /usr/src/postgresql-7.3.4/src
bash-2.05b$ ./configure　--with-mb=EUC_CN
bash: ./configure　--with-mb=EUC_CN: 没有那个文件或目录
bash-2.05b$
请各位赐教
安装过程如下:
[root@lin root]# su postgres
bash-2.05b$cd /usr/src
bash-2.05b$mkdir pgsql
bash-2.05b$chown postgres:postgres pgsql
bash-2.05b$cd /usr/local
bash-2.05b$mkdir pgsql
bash-2.05b$chown postgres:postgres pgsql
bash-2.05b$tar -xvf /usr/src/postgresql-7.3.4.tar
bash-2.05b$ cd /usr/src/postgresql-7.3.4/src
bash-2.05b$ ./configure　--with-mb=EUC_CN
bash: ./configure　--with-mb=EUC_CN: 没有那个文件或目录
bash-2.05b$
