Responsibilities

The Server performance analysis group within SSG is looking for Performance Engineers to conduct experiments on today’s state-of-art enterprise platforms.  The candidate will be responsible for running server workloads on a variety of VMMs from VMware, Xen, KVM and Microsoft, all on DP and MP hardware systems. Statistics gathered off the platform will be analyzed for sources of performance bottlenecks (memory & I/O bandwidth, memory latency) and used to influence the architecture and algorithms used in the VMMs, future generations of Intel’s VT technology,  and provide competitive collateral.  Results will be captured in white papers and distributed externally to the group.

Qualifications
A Master or PH.D in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
Additional qualifications include:
- Solid understanding of computer architecture and server platform hardware
- Experience with Linux* and Windows* operating systems
- Ability to drive action across Intel groups and within the industry
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to take abstract concepts and develop concrete action plan to influence Intel and VMM vendors.

北京Intel团队把美国Moblin的活都拉过来了，工作内容涉及Linux中从内核、驱动到应用程序各个软件层面的工作和优化，所以职位较多。

工资待遇按人水平具体制定，非常灵活。如果你的Linux水平很高，也在外企有了稳定的工作，但是觉得现在的工资不够高，也欢迎投递简历：）

所谓应届生，也要求c语言基本功扎实呀，这只能通过在校期间给老师干项目来锻炼，或者是到处参与开源项目的开发来达到。
