Position: Senior Symbian Engineer
(Work Location: Tianjin, PRC)

Key Responsibilities:
As part of Symbian team, the ideal candidate shall work closely with his/her teammates, managers, as well as other functional teams to deliver mobile client software applications on Symbian platform. The key responsibilities include:
o        Leading the technical research as requested.
o        Leading/participating in requirement analysis, doing developing estimation based on the requirements.
o        Leading/participating in analyzing and developing of high-level software solution and architecture.
o        Leading to deliver the software application with high quality on time.
o        Leading/participating in technical review for documents and codes.
o        Driving to improve the quality of the software.

Qualifications / Experience Required:
o        Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Electronics / Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications or other related discipline.
o        5+ years experience of software development experience on full software development cycle from concept to product deliverables through system deployment.
o        At least one year S60/UIQ smart phone develop experience.
o        2+ years C++ development experience
o        Good knowledge of OO programming and Design Pattern
o        Self-motivated; can work in a fast-paced team environment with good ability to multi-task.
o        Strong team player, good work ethics, commitment to quality.
o        Experience with software engineering and lifecycle management.
o        Fluent oral English is must, excellent written and reading skill in English, with good inter-personal skills.

Pluses:
o        Experience with script language (Perl, Python)
o        Experience on agility development processes.
o        Experience with Network technologies (proxy servers, load balancers, HTTP, TCP/IP)
o        Experience with Scalable multi-tier services
o        Experience with Internet technologies (HTML/XML, JSP, IMAP, Servlets)
o        Knowledge of Wireless technologies (WAP, SyncML, IMAP, iMode)
o        Experience with leading project/feature develop in 5person/3+ month scale. And the ability of defining developing plan.
o        Experience of developing Push-Email products is preferred.
o        Programming experience on mobile devices is preferred.
o        Prior work experience in the US or with US based multi-national firms is an asset.

o        Participating in delivering the individual SW features with high quality on time.
o        Investigating, fixing and verifying the software bugs.
o        Maintaining existing software functionalities.

Qualifications / Experience Required:
o        Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Electronics / Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications or other related discipline.
o        2+ years of experience working in JAVA (J2ME, J2SE or J2EE).
o        Proficiency of JAVA and Object Oriented technologies.
o        Experience in TCP/IP based socket programming.
o        CET-6 holder with good spoken and written English
o        Strong team player, good work ethics, commitment to quality.
