◆Responsibilities:
-Work with the Wind River Linux build system
-Integrate Open Source Linux user space packages
-Design, integrate and implement enhancements to our Linux platform

◆Requirements:
-4+ years of development experience
-2+ years of Linux in a development environment, especially embedded systems
-Have successfully worked on the delivery and deployment of Linux based products to the market
-Strong practical C experience in a cross-compilation environment
-Hands on knowledge of GNU development toolchain, especially gcc for cross-compilation and linking
and gdb for debugging
-Bash shell scripting ability

-Knowledge and understanding of the following concepts: Linux user space, kernel loadable modules,
cross-compiling,
static and dynamic linking, guarding against host dependencies during cross-compilation
-Experience with the RPM package manager

-Experience with target file system creation and maintenance, Linux user space application
maintenance is required.
-Familiarity with automake and autoconf
-Familiarity with compilation cache

-Experience with Fedora and Red Hat is desired
-Experience with Debian, Ubuntu, SUSE a plus
-Experience with source control best practices
-Experience with git a plus

Description:
With a passion for assuring the quality of complex system software.
The candidate will be part of the Beijing, China -based team responsible for testing Tools, Multi-Os, Hypervisor
and Virtualization technologies.
The candidate should be able to read design specifications and develop test code in C and/or assembly language
for the various susbsytems of the hypervisor. Test development should cover Black-box, performance and stress
testing of the hypervisor subsystems.
Job requirements
The successful candidate will have 3+ years experience in test software development including hands-on
experience with many of the following:
- Experience in C programming
- Ability to develop test tools is a plus
- Proven ability to develop automated testing is a plus
- Some knowledge of computers/processors architectures (Cache, MMU, Busses)
- Ability to read High Level Schematic
- Experience in Lab setup and Configuration
- Some knowledge in Low level HW bring up
- One year or more of experience in test programming
- Experience with test development tools and automated test harnesses
- Experience in developing test plans is a must
- Familiarity with Windows, Unix and Linux operating systems
- Experience in Workbench/Tornado, VxWorks, and WRLinux are a plus
- Experience in scripting language like TCL, Shell is a plus
