hardisk problem ? diskinfo size 0 Kbytes

command diskinfo /dev/rdsk/c3t5d0  has following output

size : 0 Kbytes

command dd if=/dev/rdsk/c3t5d0 of=/dev/null bs=128k   shows
======================================
dd read error: Invalid argument
0+0 records in
0+0 records out

already swapped with two spare hard disks ( the spare disks given by someone , no idea it's working one or not )  , it always display the same thing as described above .

i'd like to ask the steps above that can confirm it's harddisk problem or it could be any other problem other than the harddisk .

According to your description,i think the disk c3t5d0 is bad.

i gave up trying to swapping the disks into this slot ( i only have a few old disks which none know it's working or faulty ) , all disks swapped into this slot is same behavior , ioscan can see status is claimed but can't do the dd to verify the disk IO.
i tried to swap the boot SCSI disk to this slot to verify whether the SCSI disk backplane is faulty for this slot , and i boot manually by selecting the boot disk from this slot . it failed to boot as the screen moving very fast . i can see the vg00 error and LVM error something . my question is for HP-UX any problem to swap the boot disk to different slot and boot the OS  ? or need some additional steps to  perform the alternate boot . my HW is as below .
