Job Description:
Targeted technical areas:
Exchange Server
Outlook & Windows Clients
Windows Server
Blackberry or Windows mobile clients
RightFAX
Active Directory
Email archive product experience helpful
Knows and uses the fundamental concepts of:
Basic techniques for the installation, maintenance, customization, and testing of components within the targeted technical area(s) listed above.
Demonstrated knowledge in problem solving techniques, including debugging complex, multiple component software system and component software interactions
Applies intermediate skill in:
Possesses and applies basic skills in evaluation techniques for hardware and/or software offerings as they pertain to the assigned technical area.
Basic presentation and research skills desirable.
Under General supervision:
Self started that works with limited supervision.
Assists in the installation, maintenance, customization, support and testing of components within the assigned technical area.
Assist in ensuring the overall effectiveness of components within the technical area assigned and proactively evaluate, recommend and implement cost effective improvements that will increase utility, functionality, and/or effectiveness of said components
Assists in the monitoring, evaluation and reporting of ongoing performance and capacity of components within the assigned technical area in order to ensure the business needs are met. Proactively recommends enhancements as they pertain to the(se) area(s) based upon known capabilities and projected future demands within the technical areas.
Experience and Education:
3+ years experience in system support activities in a large system environment or 3+ years experience in an operations/infrastructure environment.
A Bachelors Degree in Computer Science can be used in place of 1 year experience.
