关于sybase安装之问题

我装的是ASE Express Edition 15.0.2，第次装，安装过程正常，但到配置服务器这一步有如下提示(默认的配置）;
向大侠们求助。不胜感激！

回楼上，RHEL 5.2 虚拟机环境，单独的系统也试过结果一样。

已经使用sybase用户名来安装，并将sybase账号加入root组。

shell下执行 /opt/sybase/ASE-15_0/bin/dataserver
-d/opt/sybase/data/master.dat -b30M -z2k -sLOCALHOST
-e/opt/sybase/ASE-15_0/install/LOCALHOST.log 看看错误消息

怎么可能没结果，要么能够创建master设备要么报错了

安装系统的时候，指定 IP地址和主机名（包括域名）。

修改系统的共享内存（如果需要），我安装的时候没有修改。

你这个问题可能是按装 RHEL ES5.2 的时候，没有指定静态 IP 地址和主机名造成的。

解决的办法是修改 IP 地址，指定静态的主机名，同时修改主机名

vi /etc/sysconfig/network，

修改HOSTNAME一行为"HOSTNAME=主机名"(没有这行？那就添加这一行吧)，然后运行命令" hostname 主机名"。一般还要修改/etc/hosts文件中的主机名。这样，无论你是否重启，主机名都修改成功。

我一般都默认动态获取IP的。

我去试试看。

还有，官方的安装文件说需要建一个有特权的sybase用户

需要这个用户的权限要跟root差不多，试了几种办法都没办到。有什么高招吗？
