Toolchain Engineer
Description:
We need an engineer to handle regular toolchain maintenance tasks.
Key responsibilities include handling bug reports and integrating
toolchain updates coming from our vendor.  Bug report handling includes
triage to determine whether a reported issue is a bug or a usage issue,
as well as improving or cleaning up provided reproducers.  The job does
not include actually making changes to the toolchain, but familiarity
with toolchain components is still a big plus.  Attention to detail and
troubleshooting skills are the two key skils, and matter more than
specific domain knowledge.

Requirements:
* Excellent troubleshooting and fault isolation skills.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Basic familiarity with shell scripting.
* Basic familiarity with make, especially GNU make.
* Good English skills.  Incoming bug reports are often poorly written,
so the candidate needs to be able to interpret fairly informal English
well, and ask good clarifying questions.
* Previous experience with cross-compilation environments is useful, but
not required.


VxWorks Certified Platforms Development Engineer – Beijing

Description
This position is responsible for BSP, device drivers, and new CPU architecture development for VxWorks Certified Platforms.

Basic Requirements
- Bachelor degree (or above) of computer science, electronics or other related majors.
- Minimum of 3 years of BSP, device drivers development for embedded systems.
- Good understand to computer architecture and operating system.
- Strong program skills in C, assembly language.
- Strong knowledge in embedded system programming, device driver and tool chain.
- Familiar with any of the following processors architecture: x86, PowerPC, MIPS,    ARM/XScale, ColdFire.
- Experience of low level device driver development and testing.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, good teamwork adaptability, self-motivated.
- Good oral and written English skills.

VxWorks USB stack Development Engineer – Beijing USB协议栈

This position is responsible for Wind River USB stack development for VxWorks operating system.

Wind River USB stack is based on Wind River'sindustry-leading VxWorks operating system, with both USB host and device side support. It provides native support for various of host and device controller drivers, class drivers, interfacing with other components in VxWorks such as WindML, filesystem and networking stack. With its fully tested API and stack infrastructure, it provides customers with application ready USB environment for embedded systems.

Requirements:
-          5+ years experience in system software development with excellent hands-on experience developing in C and assembly language.
-          2+ years experience in embedded real-time software development
-  Experience in any of the following areas is an asset:
(a)    VxWorks experience
(b)    Kernel-level programming
            (c) OS Virtualization
            (d) Partitioned operating systems (e.g. ARINC 653)
- Ability to participate in complex technical discussions and initiatives
- Cross-development experience in Windows and/or Linux/Unix environments
- Strong communications and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a distributed team environment
- BSEE/BSCS/BSCE in Computer Science or equivalent. MSCS/MSEE/MSCE is an asset
