swagentd进程关闭引起安装软件失败一则

今天在HPUX上安装软件的时候出错如下：

         swagentd daemon or there may be a networking problem affecting

         can be enabled by the system administrator on "EIPDB" by
         setting the "SW_ENABLE_SWAGENTD" entry in
         /etc/rc.config.d/swconfig to "1" and executing
         "/usr/sbin/swagentd -r".
       * Target connection failed for "DB:/".
ERROR:   More information may be found in the daemon logfile on this
         target (default location is EIPDB:/var/adm/sw/swagentd.log).
       * Selection had errors.

原来是swagentd进程没有起来，于是
#/sbin/init.d/swagentd start

接下来顺利安装完成。
