我在用源码编译安装GD库里的LIBXPM时总是提示

checking for XPM... gnome-config: not found
configure: error: Package requirements (xproto x11) were not met:

No package 'x11' found

Consider adjusting the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable if you
installed software in a non-standard prefix.

Alternatively, you may set the environment variables XPM_CFLAGS
and XPM_LIBS to avoid the need to call pkg-config.

有位朋友让我使用make WITHOUT_X11=yes跳过这项！但我执行make WITHOUT_X11=yes时总是提示make: *** No targets specified and no makefile found.  Stop.意思是说没有指明目标，也没有Makefile中发现 不知道该怎么解决了！帮帮我吧！高手们！

老老实实安装一个libX11就可以了

其次在你安装和X相关的东西如果因为依赖关系感觉很麻烦并且不原意处理的话，你就portinstall吧
比方说你要安装 LIBXPM，不用去make install clean，直接portinstall libXpm就可以了
