(已解决)hp1/8G2傲群自动加载磁带机与IBM Xseries346相连

大家好：
　　最近公司新弄了一个hp1/8　G2傲群（448）自动加载磁带机，装在公司的IBM Xseries346服务器来备份数据，可怎么也弄不好，打电话给HP和IBM，也没给什么说法，看了半天说明,下面是说明。

The aoutloader uses two SCSI logical unit numbers(LUNS) and requires a host adapter(HBA) with Multiple LUN support.
Most RAID/array controllers,including the smart Array controller included with HPproliant servers,do not support mulitiple luns,To verify the specifications of your HBA or find a list of compatible HBAs,review the compatibility matrix on the  Enterp-rise backup solutions website at :
http://www.hp.com/go/ebs.
上面的意思是说，这个磁带机需要用两个SCSI logical unit numbers(LUNS）和一个支持多LUN（logical unit numbers）的HBA，大部分的RAID和阵列控制器都不支持多LUN，要想判断你的支不支持可以到http://www.hp.com/go/ebs找下。

我对服务器这个不明白，希望高手指导。

LZ你的意思是不是BE找不到设备牙？或者认不全设备？

对，BE里找不到，可设备管理器里找到了TAPE，也是HP的。
BE的诊断日志有这么一句。
The iSCSI initiator software does not appear to be installed on this system
而且HP的说明也说需要两个SCSI logical unit numbers(LUNS）和一个支持多LUN（logical unit numbers）的HBA，我想问下大家，是不是我的服务器不支持这个设备呀，不支持多LUN。

你是不是用的Xseries346自带的scsi口接的设备？
如果是，检查一下设备的类型，有的机型缺省是将RAID功能打开的。连接磁带机设备的SCSI要将RAID功能关掉。

是用的自带的scsic口，不过公司做了磁盘阵列了，应该不能关raid吧！

如果你手上有普通的SCSI就插一块。别用内部引出来的SCSI口。
