PCB Layout Engineer

Job Responsibilities:
1.Responsible for PCB layout design using EDA tools with optimization under design guidelines provided by hardware engineers.
2.Responsible for the review of other engineers’ PCB layout design.
3.Communicate with local engineer or global site engineer to understand design requirement.
4.Communicate with fabrication house to do engineering confirmation, especially on stack-up check and impedance control.
5.High frequency digital circuit and video/audio analog circuit PCB design, e.g. DDR, USB, PCIe.

Job Requirements:
1.BSEE or higher with 3+ years of hardware experience.
2.Have more than 2 years multi layers PCB independent design experience.
3.Experience with Allegro and PADS EDA tools.
4.Experience with OrCAD schematic tools.
5.Experience with SI/PI analysis and simulation is a plus.
6.Knowledge of high frequency analog and digital circuit design, e.g. DDR, USB, PCIe, HD video, ADC, DAC.
7.Knowledge of system level and circuit level EMI/EMC/SI is a plus.
8.Knowledge of RF experience is a plus, especially on tuner, demodulator in DTV.
9.Self-starter, able to work independently, good teamwork spirit.
10.Good verbal and written (English) communication skills.

Senior Embedded Software Engineer

Job Description
Development of embedded Linux Driver/Stack porting/Demo applications for Digital Photo Frame, PC TV, Video Surveillance ,Embedded Audio products.
Resolve the software issues and working with Hardware, SW QA teams to develop features\code based on customers’ requirements.
Software design and coding, documentation, testing on product reference design board. E.g. Initialization, bootstrapping using non-volatile memory, application code downloading and diagnostic tests. Providing Kernel services like task scheduling, timer services, memory /buffer management, configuration management, etc.

Job Requirements
At least 4 years experience on Embedded device driver/application development on RTOS
MS degree or higher in Electronics\Electrical, Computer Science or equivalent
Must have strong proficiency in C/C++ and have some ARM Assembly languages programming knowledge
Must have good understanding of operating system concepts, embedded systems, real time systems etc.
Must have 2+ Linux +ARM products development experience.
Good knowledge of design methodology ,UML and Object-Oriented Analysis/Design concepts
Having a good knowledge of JPEG/MPEG-4/H.264/WMA/MP3 standard is a plus
Knowledge and experience on TCP/IP/WiFi/Bluetooth connectivity, J2ME/CDC development is a plus
Hands on software development experience of the above topics will be a big advantage
Knowledge and experience in one of the areas is helpful: device driver, human-machine interface, or computer graphics.
Understanding of China or oversea DPF/DTV/Video Surveillance market is a plus
Good problem analyzing and solving skill and willing to take ownership of resolving the problem, quick-to-learn, good communication skill, self-motivated, hard working and good team player
Excellent written/verbal communications skills in Mandarin and English.
