Pos1: Sr. MTS - ESX Server VMkernel Networking
==============================================
Responsibilities:
* Act as one of the technical leaders of the team.
* Design and implement next generation operating system networking subsystems and develop it with low-level system programming.
* Design and implement end-to-end networking solutions for next generation virtualization environment.
* Determine, design, and implement scalability requirements for large scale virtual data center networks and internet scale cloud network solutions.
* As a hands-on developer, will be capable of fully understanding the networking system and implementing and guiding the changes required to maximize virtual and physical I/O performance and scalability.
* Work on networking resource management requirements for virtual networks and virtual machines; work on kernel and user space software; problem analysis, resolution, and debugging.

Requirements
* 6+ years of industry experience, preferred in MNCs
* Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
* Knowledge of CPU internals, CPU schedulers, memory management, x86 platform CPU and server architecture.
* Solid knowledge of modern UNIX kernels (i.e., Linux, BSD, Solaris, AIX, or HP/UX) in kernel/C development, debugging, problem and performance analysis
* Strong familiarity with TCP/IP protocol suites, knowledge of L2 switching and/or L3 routing.
* Strong analytical, diagnostic and problem-solving skills with ability to work independently and deliver products in a timely manner

Pos2: QA Manager - CPD, Beijing

Responsibilities:
* Work with development to determine QE requirements and test coverage and coverage with input from marketing and customer support.
* Work with other QE teams in Beijing, US, and India to ensure comprehensive test coverage and quality assurance of products
* Provide high level technical directions and leadership to the team
* Input to planning timelines for both engineering and quality assurance.
* Standardize practices and procedures based on a software development methodology

* Programming experience & knowledge of automation frameworks
* Ideal candidate has strong communication skills and experiences interacting with other teams  throughout product life cycles

Requirements:
* Bachelor/Masters degree in Computer Science or equivalent from a reputable university
* 10+ years of industry experience
* Very solid design and development experience in distributed systems and at least one of below areas:
database, database management; cloud computing, cloud management system
* Strong coding skills in Java and modern development frameworks
* Experience with C/C++ a plus
* Comfortable developing for the Windows and/or Linux environments
Some of the things that we need to emphasize with candidates:
  This is hands-on coding position.  Candidates are expected to code 50-75% of the time
  Candidates will be responsible for component areas and will work with small teams of less senior engineers to deliver them.  Mentoring is expected.
  As a senior team member there will be interactions with the US team.  Good communications skills (written and verbal) are necessary.

曾经去面过VMWare,但是他们几个职位已经被经理内定了,有点无奈啊!500强的本土化也挺好啊

发现VMware目前全是developer或testing方面的职位,啥时候有application方面的啊?很期待啊。。。

app这样的职位肯定很少,因为公司主业不在这里。
