Quality Engineer - Virtualization（Urgent）

The Quality Engineering team at Red Hat is looking for engineers to search for, analyze, report, and track defects in Red Hat Enterprise Linux. Responsibilities include developing test scripts, executing test cases, debugging software problems, and operating automated test tools.

Job Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent computer experience
* Strong skills and background in Linux
* Familiar with a wide variety of components of Operating Systems (Kernels specifically)
* Knowledge of Virtualization software desired
* Knowledge of Windows system administration helpful
* Selfstarting and ability to work under pressure
* Scripting skills in bash, perl, or python
* Strong analytical skills

Quality Engineer - Automation

Industry leaders including Dell, Fujitsu Siemens, HP, and IBM have certified their hardware with Red Hat Enterprise Linux. As a result, their customers have the confidence of knowing these certified hardware systems are supported by Red Hat when running Red Hat Enterprise Linux. The Quality Engineering team at Red Hat is looking for engineers with background in Linux System Administration to be responsible for the delivery of the Red Hat Hardware Test Suite and tools used during the testing process in the highest quality. With a strong focus on R&D, we are actively developing new technologies that will increase the efficiencies of our testing effort.

Responsibilities include:

1. Preparing server environment
2. Develop Test Plan/Test Cases
3. Analyse test failures and make further recommendations
4. Other duties as assigned

Candidates should possess the following requirements:

1. Degree majoring in Information Technology or Computer Science or equivalent combination of education and experience
2. Ability to perform independent research
3. Experience with Linux System Administration will be highly regarded
4. Familar with automation testing
5. Experience with testing activities such as preparing and executing Test Caese
6. In-depth knowledge of server hardware
7. Scripting skills including (Perl or Python) and Shell
8. Ability to communite effectively in English (verbal and written)
9. Attention to details and a perfectionist will be highly regarded

Quality Engineer - Desktop

Red Hat Desktop/I18N Quality Engineering requires a Quality Engineer who enjoy working in a fast pace environment with a strong passion to break software in order to improve the quality. Some of the core responsibilities include: GUI/desktop applications testing. Internationalization testing (input method, font rendering, printing). Develops, maintain and executes Test Cases (automated/manual). Works with development organization to debug and troubleshoot issues in the course of testing activities.

Requirements

* Experience with graphical application and internationalization testing
* Experience with testing activities such as preparing and executing Test Case
* Familiar with Linux Desktop (GNOME/KDE) and interest in the advancement of Linux Desktop
* Scripting skills including (Perl, Ruby or Python) and Shell
* Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbal and written)
