1. Position: Networking Engineer/ Senior Networking Engineer/Team Lead/Project Manager
Responsibility
Siemens
Extensive working knowledge of Siemens HiCom 3xxx & HiPath 4xxx
Siemens certification in Openscape (SOCA/SOCP/SOCE)
Avaya
1) Working, programming knowledge of Avaya Platform Communication Management Servers i.e. S87XX, S8500, Media Gateways as well as Avaya / Octel VMX Voicemail Systems and Avaya Intuity Voicemail systems.
2) Ability to program and design most aspects of the Communication Servers, i.e. VDNs, Vectors, ARS etc.
3) Avaya Certifications (ACSS, ACSE)
Cisco
1) Cisco CUCM platforms (Call Manager, Unity, CER features/capabilites)
2) Voice networks (PRI, BRI, POTS, PSTN)
3) Data networks (General WAN/LAN/Firewall)
4) CCNA Voice, CCVP Certifications
Network routing and switching in the context of managed services;
• Managed services for Wide Area Networks (WAN), including WAN optimisation services;
• Security Management for WANs;
• Voice and Unified Communications;
• Collaboration, including voice and video conferencing; and
• Hosting
1) Project/Program Management expertise
2. Good knowledge of IP networks
3. Exposure to Cisco/Alcatel based Network Service Design is added advantage
1) VOIP - Altcatel 6850 Switch configuration, Cisco VG224 configuration
2) Wifi - Exposure to Alcatel 4324 wireless solution
VOIP - working knowledge of Voice Gateways
Qualification:
1. 3+ years working experience on Networking.
2. Ability to work as part of global / cross-cultural team
3. Strong passionate on technique
4. BSCS or BSEE is required
2. Embedded Position: Electronic Engineer
Responsibility:
- Minimum of four years in a relevant job as an applications electronics engineer designing micro-processor based architecture for industrial type products.
- Practical experience in writing a full functional specification for at least one product, an understanding of computer aided tools for design.
- Experience of supervision/team leadership of other engineers work.
- Knowledge of digital and analogue electronics design techniques and methods.
- Must demonstrate an understanding of quality and reliability standards and how they apply to electronic designs, including the importance of designing for manufacture and testability.
- Demonstrate an ability to express technical matters adequately, both orally and in writing.
- Knowledge of working to quality procedures
Qualification:
(1) 5+ years experience in digital circuits design. Telecom industry is preferable.
(2) Some experience in analog circuits design.
(3) Some experience in programming for embedded system.
(4) Knowledge in optics is preferable.
