我问一个老问题，10多年了，一直比较迷惑

还是期待SCO公司为优盘开发驱动程序吧，这样就不用受软盘的苦了。

说我10多年一直买垃圾盘，这是信口开河的说法，我们单位从xenix一直用到unix，从informix1。0用到informix7。x不会连好坏盘都不认识吧，偏偏有很多unix下坏的盘到dos下是好的，而且偏偏是unix在大规模应用中还就是离不开软盘，他的可恨之处在于，写入的时候怎么都好，有问题也不提示，只有在tar出的时候才出事情，sco一直也不把这问题当回事情解决，其实爱坏就爱坏也无大碍，我想如果写盘的时候给点提示就ok了，免得跑了10多公里拿了3套坏盘去装东西，到装的时候才发现不得劲。

对了，忘了说，我们现在用unix专用软盘，好像也很一般般

The floppy would based on CRC.So sometimes you format a floppy,and the system told you that flpooy is a bad one,but you still can use that under UNIX. We did meet these . And in fact we use 3M disk for years.All the floppy are real 3M product. It did happen that mistake.Difference from DOS ,which sector is not the same as that in UNIX.
On the other hand we make every floppy disk into IMG format. To burn them onto CDROM. So we don't keep that in floppy any more.
When we need that floppy,we may copy that from CDROM. Try this way. It wound't let you down.

如果unix有像win下可以用usb口和only disk就好了

不过我所知道，sco 5.06以上的版本打上补丁就可以用usb接口了

换个角度想一下，为什么这么不可靠的玩艺你还这么执著的去用它？
是该发挥其它媒体界质的作用了！扔掉软驱吧！别在折腾了，我们的精力是有限的！我已经有快4年没有用软盘了。

这样的问题大家都遇到过！包括我自己，我看还是软盘的质量问题！有时一盒盘里有一半都是坏的！受不了，我买的时候也不便宜啊！




                         我们应该淘汰软驱了！
