Job description
To provide remote technical support assistance to customers and IBM tech personnel on System P SW AIX & HACMP products. And to provide the best Post-Sale services to customers in the most efficient way. Excellent written and spoken communication skills are a significant position requirement, as is the ability to provide information and direction to others in a clear and concise manner.
The candidate should possess strong communication skills, driven by an emphasis on teamwork and oriented towards customer satisfaction. Technically, he/she is preferred to have hands-on experience on AIX BOS & HACMP installation, setup and configuration with strong analytical skill in problem solving.
Required skills:
- Basic knowledge about VIO, DLPAR, HMC, GPFS.
- Good communicating skills with customer through phone.
- Self-motivated, responsible, and good team player.
- Customer onsite support and implementation experience is preferred.
Required
* Bachelor's Degree
* At least 2 years experience in AIX PD/PSI(Problem Determination/Problem Source Identification) and performance tuning (Certified Advanced Technical Expert is preferred)
* At least 2 years experience in AIX administration
* At least 2 years experience in HA/cluster principle and implementation (HACMP experience is preferred)
* English: Fluent
* Chinese simplified: Fluent
* Cantonese: Fluent
Additional information
- Unix system level programming experience
- Database performance tuning experience.
- HA design and implementation experience. |
