Enterprise Computing Tools Development Team Lead/Senior Associate
Enterprise Computing (EC) service team is responsible for the operations, support and product delivery of the infrastructure technology used globally across the Firm. It covers computing hardware, operating systems, data storage and web hosting platforms. The team is seeking two senior associates to be team leads. The candidates will interface with the global EC engineering, EC operations, and business support groups to gather requirements.  Given these requirements, the candidate would be able to design a system and provide architectural suggestions for the solution.  As a team lead, this person will drive and contribute to the implementation of the solution managing 3 to 4 junior developers.

One successful candidate will lead a team to develop a capacity planning framework to be used in the Enterprise Computing area. This will include an extensible and flexible front-end graphical web interface which can take various forms of back-end data.  There will also be a component of scripting/coding to capture or aggregate certain performance metrics.  Database experience and data modeling will be involved to access existing data and store additional utilization statistics.  The goal is to create an interface which allows us to monitor, analyze, and implement changes in resource utilization.  It will allow us to manage demand for computing resources and plan for future growth.

Another successful candidate will be responsible for the re-launch and support of an in-house request, provisioning, and delivery system.  Additional work will include: development of an automated server operating system build process, gathering metrics, reporting, and development of various front-end web tools.  It will require hands-on development work and liaising with other groups, who have comprehensive expertise in building and provisioning Linux and storage products.

Skills Required
* Strong Perl and Unix Shell scripting
* Strong development experience: Java/J2EE
* Flex or Ajax UI design experience
* Strong Database modeling expertise and SQL: Sybase or IBM DB2
* Experience with UNIX (Solaris), Linux (Red Hat) and Windows Operating Systems' administration
* Experience with software development life-cycle: system design and requirements gathering
* Organizational and English communication skills
* Project management skills and ability to multitask
Skills Desired

It covers computing hardware, operating systems, data storage and web hosting platforms. The team is seeking a multi-talented web developer. The candidates will develop applications that will become part of our innovative solution that ensures consistency of the technology platform for the business.

The successful candidate will develop and participate in two different projects: a capacity planning framework and an in-house request, provisioning, and delivery system. Both will include an extensible and flexible front-end graphical web interface.  There will be a component of scripting/coding (perl) as part of the projects.  Database experience and data modeling will be involved to access existing data and store additional utilization statistics.  The individual will be expected to proactively engage the global EC engineering, EC operations, and business support groups to gather requirements.  The goal of the first project is to create an interface which allows us to monitor, analyze, and implement changes in resource utilization.  It will allow us to manage demand for computing resources and plan for future growth.  The second project will help us to provision, build, report, and deliver the products that we support.

IT SH, Enterprise Infra EC - Storage Engineer
Enterprise Computing (EC) service team is responsible for the production operations, support and product delivery of the infrastructure technology used globally across the firm. It covers computing hardware, operating systems, data storage and web hosting platforms. The team is seeking a multi-talented developer. The candidate is to develop in-house applications that will become part of our innovative solution that ensures consistency of the technology platform for the business while maintaining extremely high standards of availability.

The individual is responsible to design, build and maintain tools on multi-level SAN and NAS platforms. The ideal candidate will also design storage tools on problem management and preventive maintenance (alert and capacity management). Additionally the candidate needs to understand storage virtualization, workload automation, storage provisioning, and SAN Fabric management. Ability to work as part of a global team is a requirement.

Skills Required
* Strong experience in Unix/Linux administration.
* Proficient in programming with Shell scripting, Perl or Python.
* Experience in Storage area network and IO performance troubleshooting and tuning.
* Good organizational and English communication skills, prioritization of multiple projects and objectives
* Must be able to articulate technical and user needs in a concise manner easily understood by all and be able to provide a very high level of customer service.
