Linux Platform Software Engineer

Description
You will be joining Digital Home Group as Linux Platform Software Engineer. In this position, you will be responsible for developing drivers and diagnostic utilities, and also participating resolving system level issues. You will be working closely with U.S partners and local teams on project development and customer support.
Qualifications
You should possess a Master's degree with more than one year working experiences or a Bachelor's degree with at least three years experiences. Additional qualifications include:
- Proficiency in C and/or C++ and/or ASM, data structure and Operating System (OS)
- Hand-on experiences with Linux* programming, debugging and testing
- Strong commitment to deliver task on schedule with high quality
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Mandarin
- Be faster learner and good in interpersonal skills
Good knowledge and/or hand-on experiences in one or more of the following items:
- Experiences in Linux* platform driver development like USB, Ethernet, NAND Flash controller, smart card etc.
- Experiences in power management, hyper-threading, SMP, virtualization
- Experiences in board level diagnostic tools/utilities
- Solid understanding of Linux* kernel internal
- Be familiar with kernel community common practice
- Experiences in software optimization, performance tuning
- Experiences in Linux* RPM packaging and makefiles and/or shell scripts, be familiar with OBS build service
- Experience in Linux* distribution such as MeeGo*, Moblin*, Maemo*, Fedora*, Ubuntu*, Android* would be an added advantage

In this position, you will work on graphics/display drivers, develop middleware which is close to driver, and resolve system level issues. In this position, you will be responsible for developing security software to enable CA/DRM needed for TV industry, enhancing the system level security of Linux distribution, and also resolving system level security issues. You will be working closely with U.S partners and local teams on project development and customer support.

Sr. Software Engineer

DHG Software Group is looking for a senior software engineer with good experience in Multi-media streaming technologies and good understanding in Linux kernel / device driver development. He/She should be an expert in transportation stream / program stream demux (includes DVB, ISMA, RTSP/RTP), section filtering, stream crypto, descrambling, Audio / Video timing and A/V sync up. The position requires the good Linux software architecture design and development expertise with solid C/C++/ASM coding skills. The successful candidate must have excellent communications skills both in Chinese and English, be a team player and demonstrate good interpersonal relationship. Qualifications:

Graphics Driver Engineer

You will be joining PRC Graphics and Display Driver Team in Digital Home Group as a Sr. Software Engineer. This team is responsible for Graphics and Display Driver development for Company SoC (System on Chip) based CE platform such as digital set-top boxes, connected Audio/Video devices, etc. In this position, you will be mainly responsible for developing/debugging/optimizing 3D/2D graphics drivers for Company IA SoC media processor. Qualifications:
The candidate should possess a Master degree in CS/EE with 3+ years working experience or a Bachelor degree with 6+ years working experience on Linux *graphics driver development. Additional qualifications include:
- Excellent SW development, debugging and testing skills in C/C++.
- Solid experience in OpenGL/OpenGL ES driver development.
- Experience in X11 or DirectFB driver development.
- Experience in Linux* Kernel development.
- Experience in Company Architecture and IA based embedded driver development is a good plus.
- Experience in software optimization, performance tuning, graphics algorithm is a good plus.
- Strong commitment to deliver task on schedule with high quality.

Software Validation Engineer
