ITaaS targets to build world-class high-quality & low-cost IT infrastructure to IBM CDL. The organization provides development services to CDL, including development/test servers support, application development and tools support. As we are extending service scope and moving to higher service quality standard, we are looking for a talented and contributive senior Linux/Unix Administrator.
Job Responsibilities
Work as a technical lead role and escalation expert on the administration and support for Linux and Unix platforms, xSeries and pSeries hardware, storage, enterprise backup service etc
Lead VMWare/LPAR virtualization solution development and service delivery for IBM xSeries, pSeries, SUN Server and HP-UX servers
Lead enterprise monitoring solution development for Linux/Unix/Windows platforms with Tivoli products/solutions
Lead team to design and develop other IT solutions related with Linux/Unix platforms
Assist team lead on security compliance management and service operation for Linux/Unix platforms
Job Requirements (skills/experiences)
At least 5-year work experience on Linux/ Unix administration
Solid technical knowledge and rich support experience on Linux, AIX, and plus on Solaris and HP-UX platforms
Deep understanding and rich compliance management experience on IT security
Solid technical knowledge and rich support experience on server hardware, IBM storage and Tivoli Storage Manager (TSM)
Rich knowledge and experience on virtualization for IBM pSeries, Sun and HP Servers
Rich IT operation experience on MNC and good understanding on ITIL
Rich experience on project management
Excellent customer communication skills
Has strong interest for the new technologies and able to pickup quickly
Creative problem resolution skills
