How to use ntldr to load grub
<Environment>
Disk: hda
Sector: hda1(fat32 xp main sector),hda5(fat32),hda6(fat32),hda7(ext3 /boot),hda8(swap),
hda7(ext3 /)(1 to 4 reserved for main sector)
system: xp,linux redhat9
<How to>
First: install xp in hda1
Second: install linux and install Grub in /boot
third: Create Grub loading file for ntldr
1:Boot the computer using linux installing CD 1
2:#linux rescue
3:#chroot /mnt/sysimage
4:#mkdir /mnt/win
5:#mount -t vfat /dev/hda1 /mnt/win
6:#dd if=/dev/hda7 of=/mnt/win/linux.lnx bs=512 count=1
(NOTE:The name of lnx file must not be too long)
7:#exit
8:#exit
Fourth: Reboot system to xp and modify file c:\boot.ini
You can see file linux.lnx in c:\.So now we just need to modify boot.ini file and
add one line such as c:\linux.lnx="Red Hat linux 9".
