Fedora6的分辨率怎么也调不到1024*768的，怎么办？

我原来装的 Fedora4 还可以调到1024*768的 可是装了Fedora6后就只有800*600了，在 管理－》显示  选项卡中，显示器的类型自动配置的不能更改。
最后 要说的 是我是用虚拟机装的。

虚拟机我没装过。借鉴实装机的办法试试：
在图形界面，到/etc/X11，打开xorg.conf，找到最后类似以下一节:
Section "Screen"
Identifier "Screen0"
Device "Videocard0"
DefaultDepth 24
SubSection "Display"
Viewport 0 0
Depth 24
EndSubSection
EndSection

在 Depth 24下方、EndSubSection上方添加一行Modes "1024x768" "1280x960" "1152x864" "800x600"
注意和上行对齐。
保存后退出。重启。

xorg.conf.backup应该是最原始的文件，请打开看看，对比一下有什么不同。我总感到Depth后面的数字不应该是两个，是不是问题在这里？xorg.conf和xorg.conf.backup备份一下，放到一个安全的地方。然后把xorg.conf删除，再把xorg.conf.backup改名为xorg.conf。重启。重新再按照上面的方法修改一下。重启，看能不能自动调整。

啊，我刚装的，开始也有这问题，现在解决了。
我的是显示器识别错误，所以要到管理－》显示里，找到自己型号的显示器，然后更改分辨率，保存，重启，OK！
如果还是不行，将"1024x768" "1280x960" "1152x864" "800x600"一行改为
"1024x768"，也就是将其他的删掉，保存，重启。
如果仍然不行，那我也不知道了。
