Suse9如何正确安装HBA卡驱动!!! [复制链接]

两台SUN4200服务器操作系统为:Suse9sp3 for x86
两块Qlogic2460的HBA卡
IBMds400磁盘阵列
1、安装了驱动之后,磁盘阵列的挂载很不稳定。不定时地就有一台服务器看不到磁盘阵了
   用Fdisk -l 命令看不到/dev/sdb的存在,另一台可以正常的挂载。
   解决办法:重新启动服务器*重新启动磁盘阵列
   但是我总觉得这种情况不正常
2、安装在服务器上面的HBA的指示灯显示的黄灯常亮。
   正常的是不是应该绿灯常亮啊,请大侠指点指示灯正常亮度。
3、有哪位大侠有suse9下面安装HBA卡驱动的安装文档,兄弟在这里谢过了!
4、我是安装Qlogic的网站上的安装说明去装的,解压之后驱动包qla2xxx-v8.01.06-dist.tgz
     然后就执行了如下命令:
   a、打补丁包:
    #rpm –ivh QLogicHBACIMProvider-SLES9x86_64-1.10.01-rel.x86_64.rpm
    B、安装驱动:
    #tar xzvf qla2xxx-v8.01.06-dist.tgz
    之后该目录下产生:qlogic目录。
    #cd qlogic
      # ls
   README.qla2xxx  libremove qlapi-v2.03build15-rel.tgz drvrsetup    readme.txt ApiPkg  
libinstall      qla2xxx-src-v8.01.06.tar.gz
     #./drvrseup
     #./libinstall
     #./libremove
    之后会产生qla2xxx-8.01.06目录,进入该目录
   #cd qla2xxx-8.01.06
   #ls
    # ./extras/build.sh
    #./extras/build.sh clean
    #./extras/build.sh new
    #./extras/build.sh install
    修改/etc/sysconfig/kerner文件
   #cp kerner kerner_bak
     #vi kerner
     在文件的最后一行加入:
   INITRD_MODULES="aic7xxx qla2xxx_conf qla2xxx qla2400"
   重新启动
   Hba卡驱动生效。

默认下面,SLES 9加SP3已经带这个HBA卡的驱动了,应该不需要再安装。
你可以lsmod看一下
还有,安装完,你可以直接用rescan-scsi-bus.sh这个命令来认存储。

我用Fdisk-l 也看不到新增加的磁盘。
我查看了:

FC的 HBA卡正常就是黄灯亮。我也不建议你用qlogic的驱动,用suse el9 sp3自带的应该可以。
看不到盘阵的情况你dmesg一下看看内核报什么错误信息。  另外你的主机和盘阵之间经过交换机了么?
另外就是你的DS400的配置,这个得问问IBM。

磁盘阵列是直接跟服务器进行连接,没有经过交换机。磁盘阵列的配置是IBM的工程师做的,应该没有什么问题。关键是现在:磁盘阵列认不到之后,重新启动服务器有时间都没有用,并且表现的很不稳定!

这个是错误。
你使用SUSE 9EL SP3自带的驱动还是QLOGIC的驱动的?
建议用前者。
