boot problem!

it is my first time to physicaly touch a sun machine.
but when i turn on the sun ultra10, the monitor doesn't
show up.
is there anything i need to do?
How can i boot a sun machine correctly?

but the switch in the front is useless.
it is always green.

i think it shouldn't have so much difference with other machine.

如果联网的话，可以从别的机器telnet一下

还可以看看键盘的指示灯在开机的时候闪亮的状态！

好像只闪了一次。
telnet联不上。

我觉得只是开了电源，系统没有自检。

机器完了，只闪了一下，如果是四个一起闪，只说明上电了，连cpu都没有自检通过！

如果是Ultra10的机器，你可以这样来尝试一下：
因为如果通过键盘开机——Stop+A，那么，打开电源以后，键盘上面的指示灯在正常情况下会亮三次，到第三次的时候，显示才会转换到monitor上面去。如果只是亮一次，可以这样来处理一下：将机器打开，就会看到，在主板上面，键盘接口附近，会有一排电感，用电烙铁去重新烙一次，在烙的时候，或许就会发现里面有一些电感从中间断开了，更换以后就会好。如果是锡因为氧化而导致了虚焊，这样一个动作也会消除虚焊。
另外，注意一下，在那排电感的一头，有两个电容，也要进行以上动作。
如果再不行，估计就是super I/O的问题了。
