请问xp和linux,是分开装的，怎么引导系统？

我有两个硬盘，分别装了xp和linux,是分开装的，现在只能通过IDE0进入XP,ID1进入LINUX,每次进LINUX都要改BIOS,有什么办法能在开机时选择要进入的操作系统呢？我在grub.conf加入
title windows xp
　　rootnoverify (hd0,0)
　　chainloader +1
开机时选择windows xp却没有反应，该怎么办呢？

本想不让grub装在xp这块硬盘的MBR部分的，但试了好多次都不成功。不知有人可以让grub不装在xp这块硬盘的MBR部分的而又可以开机时引导xp的？

在安装redhat的时候把系统引导安装到硬盘的第一个扇区而不是该硬盘的mbr部分 然后再xp系统硬盘上安装boot magic等引导软件来进行引导
如果你想用grub引导的话安装方法正好相反 ！！

grub可以安装在第二块硬盘上 在安装选择引导分区选择的时候 选择高级选项 将硬盘顺序改一下 就出现hdb的选项了 这里你可以选择在这块硬盘的第一个扇区 或者 mbr  。 如果你的主板带硬盘引导选择功能（想我的在启动时可以按f8健可以选择）的话选择mbr 如果没有需要xp下的软件引导的话安装在第一扇区上 这样就没有问题了
