I did follow this tip,but when i restart the X ,I find i can only use English!

shit happens sometimes,
sorry for the inconveniences,

this tip is an old tip which is on redhat distro.

i will rewrite one   if I have time.

type:
$ locale
to see if your   LC_ALL LANG  is in zh_CN*, or you can not use most of the XIM  input methods
