在使用WINCVS中无法提交,修改后的文件错误提示为cvs [server aborted]: 'root' is not allowed to commit files,在CVS网站上查到此错误的解决方法为'root' is not allowed to commit files
When committing a permanent change, CVS makes a log entry of who committed the change. If you are committing the change logged in as "root" (not under "su" or other root-priv giving program), CVS cannot determine who is actually making the change. As such, by default, CVS disallows changes to be committed by users logged in as "root". (You can disable this option by passing the --enable-rootcommit option to `configure' and recompiling CVS. On some systems this means editing the appropriate `config.h' file before building CVS.) 可我安装时是真接下载的安装包,只有一个文件的解开后就自动安装上了,根本就没有configure文件,怎么办!
