first download
then unzip the file to a directory such as /aaa
change directory into the /aaa
run the
1.make xconfig
2.make dep
3.make clean
4.make bzImage
then copy the file bzImage  into the directory /boot
the last step to do is modify the lilo.conf or grub.conf
insert the path and file in the description of the configure file,
reboot ,
if everything  is ok,congratulations,you get it.

注意和老的内核分开，最好把老的source的目录该名
