845G的集成显卡

请问各位
rh7.3装的时候跳过了x设置
我用的845G的集成显卡
进不了xwindow
不知XF86Config怎么改
不知大家有没有这方面的资料

Upgrade your XFree86 or use "vesa" driver.
It's difficult to config linux to use 854g now.

你运行一下xconfigurator

cnnetinfo

1.  Install Linux

2.  Log in as root or as a superuser

3.  Install kernel headers

            a.  For Red Hat 7.3, this is on CD2:
            /RedHat/RPMS/kernel-source-2.4.18-3.i386.rpm

            b.  Alternately, load your kernel config file,
            save the config, and run “make dep”

4.  Extract the downloaded files:
        
        a.  tar –zxvf 20030106-i386-Linux.tar.gz

5.  Ensure X Windows is not running

6.  cd dripkg

7.  ./install.sh

8.  Follow the prompts; most users should be able to press
    “Enter” at each prompt

9.  Make a backup copy of your XF86Config-4 file

10. Modify the XF86Config-4 file by _ONE_ of three methods:

        a.  Use a text editor to modify section “Device” –
            modify “Driver” entry to read “i810”

        b.  _OR_ run ‘Xconfigurator,’ selecting “Intel 830”
            from the list

        c.  _OR_ run ‘X –configure’ the edit ~/XF86Config.new

                i.  Immediately after the “Monitor” line in
                    the "Screen" section, add
                    ‘DefaultDepth 16’

                ii. At the end of the file (if not already
                    there), add:

                          Section "DRI"
                            Mode 0666
                        EndSection

                iii.Make the new config file the default by
                    copying it to XF86Config-4:
                        1.  cp ~/XF86Config.new
                            /etc/X11/XF86Config-4

11. Log out of root or superuser

12. startx

"zxvf" are the parameters of command "tar",
but I've  googled  almost all of the Chinese site for Intel Extreme display driver for linux, I failed.....

Intel的英文官方网站上建议试试“VESA”driver，但是我试过了不行！845G的支持要到下一个RH版本了。
