p615一定要用两个4-slot的Media Bay才成，第一个装系统，不能做RAID，第二个的SCSI备板连2498卡。

IBM不support这种做法，我也没试过。

Internal RAID is available on the pSeries 615 Models 6C3 and 6E3. A number of options are available to customers wanting to install RAID on their systems:

Install Feature Number 5709, the Dual Channel SCSI RAID Enablement Card. Install 4 disk drives in Feature Number 6574, the Ultra320 SCSI 4-pack enclosure. This will allow RAID capabilites within a single 4-pack of DASD.
Install Feature Number 5709. Install a second Feature Number 6574. This will allow RAID capabilities across two 4-packs of DASD.
Install Feature Number 5709. Install Feature Number 6584, the Ultra320 SCSI 4-Pack Enclosure for Disk Mirroring. Install Feature Number 5703, the PCI-X Dual Channel Ultra320 SCSI RAID Adapter. Install Feature Number 4267, the SCSI Cable which connects the PCI Adapter to Feature Number 6584. This RAID configuration will provide increased reliability over options 1 and 2.

现在p615配置的 raid卡只有一款，是 5703，2894已经停产了，5703是 Dual Channel U320 RAID 价钱不便宜。
