Position Description:
Main purpose: The job of the VAS engineer for Nokia Value Added Service Stream is to perform the delivery and maintenance services, mainly implementation and care services for the Value Added Service products such as Nokia network and service management product, Nokia SMS center product, Nokia MMS center product, Noka mobile browsing product and so on. The work will be done in the premises of the customer.
Key tasks:
1. Daily supervision of installation.
2. Implement VAS related network elements according to manuals and SOP’s.
3. Documentation according to the project procedures
4. Completing the test logs together with the representatives of the customer
5. Trouble shooting if needed and reporting to the product line
6. Handing over the network elements for acceptance by the customer
7. Software installation and maintenance
Requirements:
* Bachelor degree or above in telecom/computer fields
* Work experience in relative job is preferred
* Strong IP background
* Good Oracle or informix Database knowledge
* Experience on HPUX platform or SUN Solaris
* CCNP certification is preferred
* Good command of both written and spoken English & Chinese
