phplib中的template的路径问题！

在apache的webroot下的
/test/t.php                                           摸板处理程序            
/lib/template.inc.php                            phplib库
/template/firstpage/firstpage.ihtml      摸板文件

t.php里代码是

  include("lib/template.inc.php";
  $t = new Template("/template/firstpage";
  $t->;set_file(array("firstpage" =>; "firstpage.ihtml");
...
?>;
运行t.php后就提示
"Template Error: set_root: /template/firstpage is not a directory.
"

如改成  $t = new Template("../template/firstpage";就是正确的，

问题：
   /template/firstpage不是指根目录下的文件夹吗？
