急：如何将8i数据文件恢复到9i中

我公司安装人员将用户数据库（8i）的用户数据文件和控制文件进行了备份，其它文件未备份，现在用户机器出现故障，我想根据备份的用户数据文件和控制文件恢复到9i中，能否请高手给详细指点一下（系统win2000,并且，我不知道用户数据文件的原始路径和控制文件的原始路径），谢谢高手帮忙，急用。

备份是怎样备份?故障是什么故障?

只有数据文件和控制文件是恢复不了的，你去看看冷备份需要的条件吧！

check your backup set,how did you copy your datafiles?
if you did like this,may be can recover you DB:
1,shutdown DB;
2.backup all datafiles such as SYSTEM,USER,TEMP,RBS.....
3,backup CONTROL files;
4.backup up REDO LOG FILES;
if you didn't backup REDOLOG files,you may should use RESETLOGS option to  open database,this means data lose!
I think you should show us your backup step,then I can tell you how to recover your DB.
BTW,if your DB backuped completly,you can use your backup set derectory into 9i,just upgrade DATA DICTIONARY.

Another way,if you only backuped user data files,no SYSTEM,TEMP,RBA etc.
I don't think you can use it into 9i,the only way to "find out" your data is using DUL.
