File system -- Kernel Engineer (Symantec Chengdu)

Responsibilities
Work with a global engineering team to solve critical File System and Cluster File System issues faced by Symantec Customers
Participate in problem solving and investigation of various areas of the File System /Cluster File System /Database Editions product

Qualifications
At least 2 years of experience in working in the kernel, system software domain
•     Knowledge of File Systems/Storage subsystems, system-level programming and debugging is required
•     Operating System Internals and C Programming skills is a must
•     Knowledge of various Unix platforms, Solaris, AIX, Linux, HP-UX would be a plus
•     Good Problem solving skills, analytical skills desired
•     Good knowledge of networks TCP/IP, NFS. CIFS would be a plus
•     BS / MS in CS/CE/EE with a background in storage systems required
