Report to a GTS senior manager
Job Description & Responsibilities
• Manage a team of Business Analysts to deliver application software solutions in line with IT strategy
• Manage the software development life cycle of one or more concurrent projects independently; including scope, resource planning, timeline and user
communication to ensure timely and high quality delivery of services with optimal firm resource utilization
• Assess and make recommendations regarding risks that may impede the team's ability to deliver the solution
• Provide solutions that are world class -extensible, scalable
• Establish and maintain a high-level of user and project sponsor trust and confidence
• Work closely with and cultivate strong relationships with end users and across teams to deliver business solutions.
• Promote and drive continuous improvement of SDLC methodology in line with IT strategy
• Recognise contribution of people organization wide
• Solicit and encourage ideas from staff on improvements
• Provide opportunities for team members' career progression and development
• Consistently share information on best practices and technology trends and provide recommendations Be curious and challenge assumptions
Requirements
• University degree or higher in Computer Science or related discipline
• A minimum of 6 years in the areas of Information Technology with at least three years in the capacity of project management in application
development
• Background and experience must reflect the ability to lead and deal with growth, changes and progress
• Competent in project management; strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills
• Excellent verbal and written, presentation, interpersonal and negotiation skills is a must
• Fluent in English, Mandarin;
• Able to work independently and under high pressure.
Software Development Engineer (asp.net)–Global Technology Solutions–Internal Firm Services-Beijing
Job Description & Responsibilities
? Provide technical expertise in the design, development and delivery of business solutions.
? Conduct comprehensive analysis and design of user requirements.
? Work closely with team members and end users for business solutions.
? Participate in the development, testing and deployment of software applications.
? Write systems and program documentation.
? Provide on-going support and maintenance of existing applications.
Requirements:
? BA or BSc in Computer Science or related field
? Over three years’ asp.net development experience on commercial products for senior staff; and one to three years for staff level.
? Deep understanding of the software methodologies, processes and tools
? Previous experience in Visual Studio 2005, Web Parts, AJAX, Web Services, XML, SQL Server, Report Service etc
? Knowledge of MS Sharepoint server and/or RIA development such as Adobe Flex would definitely be an advantage.
? Candidate with less experienced will be considered as a junior level staff.
