i say 90% of unix are the same, no matter solaris, hpux, aix, linux or whatever. of course the rest of 10% can take up 99% of your time. a different story.
there are two wasy to learn hpux. for people know other flavors of unix, and just want to pass exam, it\'s not difficult. just read the training manual, and memorize commands, you can pass.
for those who wants to have hands-on experience, it\'s difficult. either learn at work, or but hp workstations. i bought a couple when i was learning it. but still, wth hpux, workstation is quite different from server. but at least it gives you an idea. |
