我才发现我的两个小型机居然license不一样
The licence system can sound a little complex, but is simple when you get used to it. It can be looked on in two ways : the LEGAL side (so the system may let many users on but it wouldn\'t be legal), and the PHYSICAL side (by physical i mean whether the server will actually let you log on)
The network always counts for 1 PHYSICAL user.
Any serial, mux/dtc, or modem terminals will count as 1 PHYSICAL user each.
Any terminal emulator (telnet etc) over the network will count as 1 LEGAL user (but the system will let as many of these users on as you want).
Any X-Windows emulation users do not count as any users - they are free.
If the physical users exceed the licence, the system will issue a message to that terminal saying that the lience is exceeded and will not issue a login prompt.
If you have an unlimited user license you are not affected by any of the above limitations. If you have 2 user license only 2 connections can be made as per the above login rules. |
