Hi,

I am amazed that you are working on HPUX without a machine!
Here is the sample output of your command:

ustgss1:/home/root# echo itick_per_usec/D | adb -k /stand/vmunix /dev/kmem
itick_per_usec:
itick_per_usec: 550

The \"550\" means the CPU clock is 550MHZ.

I am not sure the meaning of the first line. But I am sure most people are interested in the 2nd line. As a matter of fact, when I try to find the CPU speed, I usually do:

#echo itick_per_usec/D |adb -k /stand/vmunix /dev/kmem | tail -1 | awk \'{print $2}\'
