请教mail:A copy of an editor buffer....的问题

每次登陆时都会出现下面的mail内容，但是我不知怎么处理，哪位仁兄能帮我解释一下是什么造成的，怎么恢复。谢谢！！！！！

A copy of an editor buffer of yours was saved when the editor was killed.
No name was associated with this buffer so it has been named \"LOST\".
This buffer can be retrieved using the \"recover\" command of the editor.
An easy way to do this is to give the command \"ex -r \".
This works for \"edit\" and \"vi\" also.
