How to do a disk-to-disk copy via ufsdump or tar under Solaris

As a SA, you might be asked to move some file system from some low capacity hard disk to new large capacity hard drive.

The attached document show you step by step how to do this and also thare is some catch you need watch out.

dd is good utility to make a hard copy too, but it is error prone when the source and destination hard disks are different (for example different capacity, or different geomety). See the original link for details.
