解决:X server can not be started on display :0

回到办公室时,新同事告诉我不知何缘故有一台SUN BLADE 150 不能进入图形界面了,只能进入文字界面,  检查了一下/usr/dt/config/Xconfig 及/usr/dt/config/Xservers ,这两个文件都是好好的,  执行#/usr/dt/bin/dtlogin start  没有反应,  然后再执行一下#/usr/openwin/bin/openwin   屏幕黑了一下,我以为可以进入GUI,结果也不行,error message: \r\ngiving up   \r\n/usr/openwin/bin/xinit : connetction refused (errno 146):unable to connect to Xserver\r\n/usr/openwin/bin/xinit: no such process (errno 3):server error\r\n\r\n检查显卡(m64):\r\n#m64config -res 1280x1024x60 \r\n还可以改分辨率,说明显卡还好的,\r\n\r\n#sync;sync;fsck -y\r\n#reboot \r\n回来还是不能进入GUI,\r\nError :X server can not be started on display :0\r\n再也想不出没有什么好的办法了.以为是系统真的坏了,\r\n无意中执行#eeprom 发现 boot-device 为disk net ;diag-device 为net.\r\n于是把boot-device 改为disk:a ;diag-device 为disk:a \r\n然后#reboot.\r\n结果是它竟然能够进入了CDE了. 原来那两个设置也可以导致进不了GUI.

我碰到过280上没有插鼠标，导致无法进入cde界面，提示信息和你的一样。
